Word Event - The Centre for Musical Research at Bath Spa University is holding a one-day symposium on verbal notation, an approach to scoring that uses the written word, as opposed to symbols, to convey information to whoever chooses to interpret it.

In 2010 Lee Patterson realised the first phase of his Stour Valley Arts residency with Elemental Fields a location specific sound installation in a disused urban building in central Ashford. Patterson has continued his sonic investigation, uncovering a hidden soundscape in King's Wood. Fold is a new composition resulting from these field recordings. He will perform live with three other musicians - Angharad Davies, Matt Davis and Patrick Farmer.
